Subject: Festival of Trees

Description : Community holiday event featuring beautifully decorated designer trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses that grace the halls of the Appleton Museum of Art. Sales benefit the Marion County Public Education Foundation. This event usually runs the end of November thru the middle of December. Museum hours are daily 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Appleton Museum of Art, 4333 N.E. Silver Springs Blvd. Cost for this special holiday admission is nominal. For more information call 352-620-7651.

Subject: Ocala Christmas Parade

Description : Every year Ocala has a Christmas parade on the first Saturday of December. The parade starts on Silver Springs Blvd. at SE 25th Ave. and goes west to NE 8th Ave. Parade starts at 5:30 PM and is usually atleast one hour long and up to 3 hours. Bring your lawn chairs!

Description : The Art Show is one of the largest and most distinguished fine arts shows in North Central Florida. An outdoor “street festival”, the art show is expected to bring more than 100,000 visitors to downtown Gainesville. Usually held in November. Around 250 of the nation’s finest artists will exhibit their one of a kind art work in various media including painting, ceramics, jewelry and photography.
